There are several Málaga public bodies, such as the Málaga Provincial Council, that confirm how the last year has seen a remarkable increase of travelers staying in hotels and apartments.
The CEO of Costa del Sol Tourism, Arturo Bernal, has also highlighted the growth of the Dutch market during the last five years as he "confirms the strategy of further positioning Costa del Sol in the Netherlands and in the search for alternative tourism such as cultural, gastronomic, city visits or shopping tourism, which allow to reduce dependence on traditional international markets such as the United Kingdom or Germany".
Thanks to the interest shown by Dutch tourists and the growth in visits to Málaga, specific digital marketing campaigns are being developed to strengthen and improve tourist bookings during the low season in the Málaga province.
This campaign focuses on 13 countries in Europe with high air connectivity with Malaga, such as the Netherlands and its cities Amsterdam, Eindhoven and Rotterdam.
"In this market we will send messages to sell the cultural and heritage offer of the Málaga province, inland tourism and the rich offer of the municipalities of the interior, the possibilities of playing golf in winter with an enviable climate in Europe and Costa del Sol as a destination to learn Spanish", Arturo Bernal said.
These campaigns help to offer the visitor another more complete and varied image of Costa del Sol. We do not only have sun and beach, but the tourist arrives in a cozy city where he can leave behind the stress of day to day and enjoy all the services specially developed to make his stay a fascinating experience.
